A life is delicate and can be ripped away from you at any moment in time. Zac Hemming, the brother of Kyle Careford, was someone who learned this the tough way.

Kyle, 20 years young, died instantly in a car crash. The family released a video that was recorded while the accident occurred to spread awareness of the dangers of reckless driving. The cause of the accident was a mixture of careless driving, speeding, and a cocktail of prescribed and illegal drugs. Kyle did not have a valid license and was not insured.

Kyle and his friend Michael were both in the car that night; both wearing seatbelts. “We bring our children up teaching them right from wrong. We guide them and give them our advice and hope they listen, but once they are adults we hope they make the right choices. I really don’t know why the boys chose to do what they did, but I blame them both for the decisions they made on this night,” said Michael’s mother, Kat, according to the Telegraph.

I am here to say that carless driving and speeding in NO way, shape or form is fun. It certainly isn’t safe. It has an immediate effect on thousands of people including loved ones, passengers and pedestrians. You don’t know whom it can effect until the accident occurs and that is the worst part. Be cautious and aware of your surroundings when driving, and never, under any circumstance, drive under the influence.
