Overall, the feedback was positive, and the volunteer ambassadors of Laurier Brantford saw lots of students come through the doors – more than last year’s numbers. The word from ambassadors was that there was a “great turnout” with “lots of eager students.”
Melissa Clark, an upcoming first year student who is now enrolled in Concurrent Education, said the day was extremely helpful.
“We got a lot of information,” she said. Her favourite part of the tour?
“I really like the residences.”
In terms of enrollment, most future students were enrolled in the major – and more established – programs here at the university, such as Con Ed, Criminology, Contemporary Studies, and Journalism.
